A bag with a story.....

Last year during our family Holliday in Morocco our kids where speaking about their jobs besides their school in Holland with Souhaib (18 years old) and his cousin....

Beautiful differences between our cultures....

But what stays in my mind was that young people don't have a side job next to their school because of the too short of jobs and if they will work it's too heavy, not safe, too many hours, earning almost nothing etc....

Then you realize how grateful we should be with the protection our kids are having while they are working. Iron noses in shoes when you wash the dishes here in a restaurant... protection of a minimum earning, protection of workinghours for young people.

As Morocco is a developing country I gave myself an extra goal beside all what l'am doing there.... It's to let people from Morocco become better of all what l'am doing there. With all that I may have I feel it as an obligation. To make this world a little better....

If you are missing a work attitude in your younger life it's not so easy have it at a certain moment when you need it....

I wanted to create something for Souhaib, but what?

First i was thinking of baking cakes for breakfast in the riad....

But it would not make him happy... and a succes feeling is also a part of work attitude.

As I was buying ready bags from Asia and let embroider them for my clients.... I turned this to his responsibility and I would pay him for this.... I decided to let him buy the fabrics in Morocco, to bring it to the tailor to make the bags to bring it for embroidery to the atelier.

In this way people really get better of it in Morocco. The place who deserves this.

We started and Souhaib showed all his beautiful skills to arrange it so fast for me and in a very good way.

Then something beautiful happened.... As it was the idea just for the clients of the riad, people start to ask if they can also buy a bag.... Then stores where asking if they can sell them in their stores....

Souhaib is a lovely young adult and his wonderful skills made it possible to arrange all. His own little company is there.

The only thing l'am doing is connecting.... A little coaching and helping him to plan. It’s his🤍 thank you!
